European automotive is a great company. A West Seattle staple. Sean at the front knows me by name. I go in for standard service on my Volvo XC60. They are no more expensive than a jiffy lube or other quick stop service station. In fact, they were able to fix the damage done by one of those places (cross threaded oil pan plug)! I can't recommend these guys enough. They've got the tools and expertise to get you back on the road! Or preferably, keep you on the road!

Our 2001 S80 broke down on the highway with a massive oil leak. I’d heard great things about Swedish Automotive in our West Seattle neighborhood and had the car towed there. Despite their busy schedule, Sean was really helpful and did a complete diagnosis of the car for us. We are really happy with the work they did and would highly recommend them to others!

I had this shop recommended to me a while back when I had a flooding convertible (thanks rain!), and I'm glad I called them. That was my first encounter, but wasn't my last - time after time Swedish has helped me out in emergencies. For example the latest was today, while interstate, all it took was a phone call and the staff did their best to help me out, even to go so far to provide in depth details and photos (!!!) of work (Porsche dealer didn't want to believe something) that occurred months prior. To put it bluntly they care, are incredibly customer focused and knowledgeable and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks everyone!

Amazing Staff and Experience!!!

I've been taking my Volvo to Swedish Automotive for 17 years now. First it was an S-70 4-door sedan, for which Swedish Automotive was a life-saver many times as that car had been stolen, wrecked and had more done wrong to it by others than one can imagine. Swedish Automotive took extremely good care of that car until it died at over 270K miles. I replaced it with an used Volvo C-30 and after getting the car I asked Swedish Automotive to take a look and fix or replace items which needed it. I've now had the C-30 for 3 years now and the same superb service has been to the C-30 as was done to my S-70. I should also point out that the staff and owners are incredibly reliable, friendly, remember your name and car and generally are exceptional neighbors and an exceptional neighborhood business.

Swedish has always been awesome. I’ve had two oil changes there, and on the first one, Sean let me know that my tires were snow tires (I wasn’t told this when I bought my used car). He was able to explain to me how to order new tires to the shop and they installed them for me no problem. Great guys and great service!

They are nice, affordable and did what needed to be done on my car. I appreciate all of their help and insight for what needed to be done on my car.
