In these days when auto "mechanics" are mainly computer code readers who unplug faulty components and plug in new ones , it is nice to find a place with real mechanics. Swedish Automotive is the only place that can take care of my three Volvos (1967, 1976 and 1997) and 1987 Saab. They consult about every major item and do not do unnecessary work.

Having been a loyal Volvo owner for almost 50 years now, it was a great relief to find a reputable repair shop that specializes in my car of choice. Swedish Automotive was recommended to me many years ago by a good friend and I've been trusting them ever since. With a phone call, your mind is set to rest by the warm and well informed front office staff of Dave, Todd & Casey. The team patiently listens to the details of your situation then recommends a plan to restore the health of your automobile. Then the highly skilled technicians work their magic to get you back on the road. As I have learned over the years, Volvo's are a unique breed and not every mechanic understands them. But, I never have to second guess the efficient workmanship at Swedish Automotive. They have my trust and I highly recommend them. A quality experience, from top to bottom. Thanks all!

Friendly thorough service and competitive pricing.

My car is running better than ever. I recently had it in for a transmission fluid flush and I noticed that the audible noise made when switching gears has reduced significantly. I'll have to ask about why that happened next time. I also had my front brakes done and those are working great as well.

It was a very courteous experience, car was returned to me in a clean and shining condition!

I'm always so weary about automotive shops making false claims on work that needs to be done. I really appreciate that Swedish gives suggestions and let's their customers use their own discretion on whether or not to proceed. Also, a special thank you to Todd for allowing me to pick up the car earlier than business hours and for emailing me while abroad the status of the work. You guys are great!

It's not too much fun to take a car in and find that expensive unanticipated repairs are needed/recommended, but with a 9-year old vehicle with 145,000 miles on it, that is not necessarily unexpected. I'm pleased that the work that I authorized was done; the charges were as expected; and the vehicle, washed and cleaned, was ready to be picked up when we were told it would be ready.
